Ter gelegenheid van de tentoonstelling Your mileage may vary zijn 6 flyers gemaakt die de verschillende locaties van de tentoonstelling met elkaar verbinden. Aan de deelnemende kunstenaars werd gevraagd hoe van hun werk naar het werk van de anderen te komen. Mijn fascinatie ligt in de methodiek en het taalgebruik die men hanteert bij het vertellen, het mentaal recreëren van een route. Per individu zijn er merkbare verschillen en in die zin fungeren de flyers ook als een atypisch 'portret' van de deelnemers van Your mileage may vary. For the exhibition Your mileage may vary 6 flyers were made that connect the different locations of the exhibition. The participating artists were asked to explain how to get from their particular work to that of the other participants. I am fascinated by the method and language usage that is involved when one is explaining, mentally recreating a route for another person.There are noticable differences between the individuals and therefore the flyers also work as an atypical 'portret' of the participants of Your mileage may vary.
